Project case study

The Dispensary

London gastro-pub gets a website

Summary

New website for the Dispensary, an up and coming venue for the enjoyment of fine food and drink

Objective

The Dispensary is a relaxed, smart gastropub with its own restaurant and private dining room. All this is set in a restored listed Victorian building near Aldgate whose period details add an authentic air to the delicious British produce offered on the menu. Still being a young establishment, Chef patron Dave Cambridge and co-owner Annie Smith needed a website that would give people a feel for the place and the chance to peak at sample menus.

Solution

They already had an identity that had been designed for them, so it was merely a matter of extending the qualities inherent in that online. The design produced was intended to be clear and straight-forward and elegantly arranged without any overdone fussiness. This was supplemented by the photographic material provided which was added into a slideshow whose contents varied dependant on the section of the site you are visiting.

Aside from the website BridgingUnit also produced a set of Word templates for some of their various menus to enable them to easily keep them up to date.

What they said

“Thank you so much for a beautiful web site. Since going live I can see that business has increased and many people have commented on what a lovely site we have.”
