These disciplines deal with making a website user-friendly, rationalising content, labelling, organisation and architecture and making interaction and navigation intuitive, logical and easy to use.

These are important to consider for obvious reasons. Too many websites fail their visitors, confusing them and making their tasks difficult. This reflects badly on the company and customer loyalty will be weakened or even lost.
